Terms of Service — Imago

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Imago ("the App"), a reflective assessment tool created by Chrysalis Leadership Studio. By accessing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Purpose of the App
Imago provides introspective tools and a personalized report — the Imago Portrait — aimed at self-development, values exploration, and reflective inquiry. All insights are educational in nature.
The App does not provide medical, psychological, financial, or legal advice. Use of the App does not create a clinician-client or fiduciary relationship.
Before data collection begins, the App presents a one-time consent screen. By proceeding past the consent screen, you acknowledge that AI will process your personal reflections to generate your Imago Portrait.
2. Eligibility
You must be 18 years or older to use the App. By using it, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
3. AI Disclosure
Your Imago Portrait is generated using artificial intelligence (Claude by Anthropic). The AI processes your assessment responses to produce a personalized reflective report. AI-generated insights may not always be accurate or applicable to your specific situation. Use your own judgment in applying any insights from your report.
4. User Responsibilities
You agree to provide voluntary, truthful input; use the App for personal or authorized professional purposes only; not exploit, copy, scrape, reproduce, reverse-engineer, or resell any part of the App; not upload illegal, harmful, abusive, or infringing content; and comply with applicable laws while using the App.
5. Intellectual Property
All App features, assessment systems, algorithms, content frameworks, question designs, narrative structures, and branding belong to Chrysalis Leadership Studio and its creator, Aaron Perkins.
You own your responses and reflections. You grant the App a limited license to use your inputs to generate your Imago Portrait and operate the service. You may revoke this license by deleting your data.
6. Privacy
Your use of the App is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. By using the App, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and accepted the Privacy Policy.
7. Payments (If Applicable)
If premium features become available: fees must be paid through approved processors, all purchases are final unless otherwise required by law, subscription access lasts for the purchased term, and price changes apply only to future purchases or renewals.
8. Limitation of Liability
The App is provided "as is," without warranties of accuracy, completeness, reliability, or suitability for any particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chrysalis Leadership Studio is not liable for decisions made based on assessment results, losses arising from downtime, bugs, data loss, or third-party service interruptions. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to discontinue use and/or request data deletion.
9. Modification and Termination
We may change, update, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Significant changes will be communicated within the App. Continued use constitutes acceptance of modified Terms. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated, harmful or illegal behavior occurs, or unauthorized system interference is detected. You may stop using the App at any time and request permanent data deletion.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If a dispute arises, the parties agree to attempt informal resolution before any formal legal action.
